Mahalo. Due to the generous support of the grassroots, the trip is adequately funded. The goal was met and for that I am very thankful. I have had requests to put up a new widget for those who still wish to contribute to the ride and my continuing efforts. In fact, I had (half jokingly) mentioned a beer fund and have now been asked by my Hawaiian Ohana where it is? 😀
So, I have created two widgets. One is called “Onward” and will be used transparently, for grassroots efforts and preparing for the next ride. The second is called “To Success and will be used to fund a relaxing couple days in SF, (before heading to New Mexico to see what we can do about getting Adam Kokesh a seat in Congress. Yes, while I do like a good party, and will need a couple days to wind down, staying busy for liberty is more my style)

Here I am, hat in hand, humbly asking for your support on my next cross country canvassing effort. I will need to raise a minimum of $6000 to cover materials, and support, for two months. Basically, it works out to a $100/day for materials, food, and shelter. Anything over that amount will buy more pocket constitutions, etc…
Luckily, I have most of the gear I need from the last trip. (There is a GPS for $200 I could really use). In the interests of promoting transparency, I will be posting expenses online for anyone to check and see how your hard-earned money is being spent, (will have a $50/wk “pettycash” entry)

Hi Don, Thanks for commenting on this. I appreciate the extra effort and chance to explain. The link is a bit small. Clicking on the “Chip-In” button will bring you to a PayPal page. On the lower left you will see, “Don’t have a PayPal account?
Use your credit card or bank account (where available). Continue”
Clicking on “continue” will bring you to a page where you can contribute by CC.
I know it is a little clunky, but it is the cheapest, easiest way to set something like this up for a grassroots effort.

I support the Constitution and wish the government would obey it but let’s face it…it’s not written in plain easy to understand English…unless you’re handing out Constitutions to lawyers, most people won’t bother to read it all or they won’t be able to understand all the complicated legal language on it…instead of handing out Constitutions, how about handing out slim jims with the Bill of Rights? You could put a URL with the whole Constitution on these slim jims and it would be cheaper and you could hand out more of them.
