I would love to see arms branch off of his route and people meeting him all along the way. Visit a sheriff’s office with him and see how he handles the visit and the press along the way and then replicate that back all the way to your state and your local sheriff’s office.
Ride with him, meet with him, order materials for him, share with him about matters in your state and he will help all along the way. As I have pondered and prayed about this journey, I have been impressed that we should each ask what we can do to help and do that. If everyone takes a little liberty to their community, we can spark the discussion across the land and what looks like a journey from freedom to fascism (NY to alcatraz) can actually be a journey setting liberty free across the land!
Think about it and see what you can do to reverse the trend and share the vision! If you don’t know how to help, pray and ask God what you might do to restore freedom in our land. Where there is no vision, the people perish. Here is one man with a vision and I believe that his vision will help you to see just how easy it is to reverse the trend right where you are.
Ride for liberty and tell a friend and share a story across the land!

I’ve got a history of projects like this, and it is one thing I have a knack for; talking to the kind of folk you meet on the side of the road, getting them interested in some “real†change, and reporting on what I find.

| This time, in addition to casual encounters, and in response to the recent DHS Documents deeming peace-loving political activists as potential threats, I will be canvassing Sheriffs and Governors; presenting them with educational materials about our movement, providing background for sensible r3VOLutionary solutions to the problems we face as a nation. The packs will include: “The Revolution – A Manifestoâ€, by Congressman Ron Paul. “The County Sheriff – America’s last Hopeâ€, by Sheriff Richard Mack. And a DVD of the speech, “The Powers of the Purse and Sword†by Dr. Edwin Vieira.
In doing so, I hope to build rapport and spark honest discussion, locally, about our great country’s apparent slide into some bizarre new form of fascism. To symbolize this, I am riding from The Statue of Liberty to Alcatraz; Freedom to Fascism. It is a grim goal to envision, a heavy topic to carry. But, must. be. done. As Dr. Ron Paul said, July 10, 2003 on the floor of Congress, “Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it’s realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy.â€
Awakening the drowsy, energizing the awake, those are things I’m good at. Navigating the road, and targeting a message, are things I have a wealth of experience in. Putting them together in this trip is a natural. Following the advice of Calvin Coolidge, “Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘press on’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.â€, I’m pressing on.

Made a bunch of changes tonight as we discussed by phone earlier 05/15/09:
i used inove appearance because it has the drop down menus on the top line and fixed all the side bar items  and made a few changes there
the rss feed for twitter fixed! #R4liberty is active use away and it will appear on this site / we can add one for your tweets too Michael if you want!
will see if someone else can help get some graphics back in the header via css – not my area of expertise, but think doable  I think we may be able to overlay the entire banner
hope you like, but just change back if not – everyone seemed to think that was possible 😉

Adding tags now so it should look more populated in the tag cloud – if everyone posting will utilize tags and categories – it helps a bunch!
